I will stamp all over 'serious boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast live on Netflix.

British boxer Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" the American as the combatants confronted each other to publicize next month's bout.

Former twice unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on 19 December.

Boxer's Attitude

"I'm going to damage his features and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.

"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's my goal."

Civil Interaction

Despite such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Fighter

Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.

Financial Success

Still, the novice is still one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive financial rewards.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.

"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.

Size Difference

As both boxers engaged in the usual face-off, with their physical disparity evident, it drove home just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the fight is actually happening.
